ABSTRACT
The low lying coastal areas in the Upper Adriatic Sea
that may be potentially flooded
have been detected by an integrated modeling approach that predicts
the mean sea level rise due to global climate change and storm events and
the natural and anthropic land subsidence. A GIS has been applied to
manage the results from the various models and to perform a risk
analysis of inundation of those areas in the next century.
